AI & Educational Disclaimer

Version 1.1.0-draft · Effective 2026-08-10 · Last updated 2026-08-10

Short, and worth reading before your first class.

An AI teacher, not a human instructor

ClassDay plans and teaches your classes with a large language model. There is no human educator reviewing your curriculum, your lessons or the feedback on your answers before you see them.

Generated classes can be wrong

Curricula, schedules, explanations, worked examples, quiz questions and answer feedback are generated and may contain factual errors, outdated material, gaps, bias or internal contradictions, sometimes stated confidently. Treat a lesson as a knowledgeable study partner, not as an authority.

Source labels still need checking

Lessons distinguish material drawn from your uploaded course materials from broader subject knowledge, and point at the passage used. Those labels and pointers are themselves generated, and text extraction from PDFs and slide decks is imperfect. Verify anything important against the original document, your syllabus and your instructor.

No grades, credits or accreditation

ClassDay is not a school, a teacher of record or an accredited institution. It does not award grades, credits or certificates, it is not endorsed by your institution, and it does not guarantee any exam result, grade, admission or learning outcome.

Not professional or emergency advice

Nothing here is medical, mental-health, legal, financial or other licensed professional advice, and this is not an emergency service. If you are at risk, contact your local emergency number or a qualified professional.

Academic integrity is your responsibility

Your school's and instructor's rules govern what you may submit. Do not present generated work as your own where that is prohibited, and never use ClassDay to take or circumvent an assessment. See the Acceptable Use Policy.

Report a problem with generated content

Found a lesson that is wrong, unsafe or misattributed? Report it from Settings → Report a problem while signed in: that is the working route today. An email contact is being set up before launch (to be confirmed). Reports help us fix prompts and retrieval.
