- 2026-08-10 · v1.1.0-draft: Minimum age raised from 13 to 16. A 16+ minimum keeps the service outside GDPR Article 8 parental-consent territory (16 is the Article 8 default and member states may only lower it), and it removes the need to design for the youngest teenage users. The report, verification and removal workflow is unchanged and now applies to accounts below 16.
- 2026-08-10 · v1.2.0-draft: Product renamed from CoursePilot to ClassDay (classday.ai). Only the product name changed: no rights, obligations or data practices were altered. Acceptances recorded against the earlier versions stay on file as evidence.
- 2026-08-23 · v2.0.0-draft: Minimum age raised from 16 to 18. ClassDay is now for adults only: accounts may not be created by anyone under 18, the service is not designed for, directed at or intended for children, underage accounts are not knowingly permitted, and an account found to belong to someone under 18 is terminated and its data deleted. The report and removal workflow is unchanged and now applies to accounts below 18. The COPPA position and the actual-knowledge-of-under-13 intake and removal path are unchanged, and no COPPA compliance claim is made. Material change: re-acceptance is required.

- 2026-08-28 · v2.1.0: Paid plans went live through Stripe with Managed Payments, so Stripe is the merchant of record and seller for each transaction: it calculates, collects and remits applicable tax, issues the receipt, and may refund or reverse a charge under its own policies. The billing and refund sections say so, and prices are stated exclusive of tax with the total shown at checkout. Material change to who sells to you: re-acceptance is required.
