Why this matters

A great tutor can change a student's trajectory. But personal tutoring has always been limited by geography, cost, and access. AI changes the economics: one well-designed teaching system can reach millions of students at a fraction of the cost of traditional instruction.

We believe that potential should benefit the students who need it most, not only the ones who can afford it. ClassDay exists to bring structured, course-grounded tutoring to any student with a syllabus and a device.

Our long-term vision

We imagine a world where every student, no matter where they live, can open ClassDay and learn from a tutor that understands their actual course materials, adapts to their pace, and never makes them feel behind.

That means building a teaching system that works across subjects, languages, and income levels. It also means keeping the product honest: citing sources, admitting mistakes, and prioritizing real understanding over quick answers.

Profits toward access

As ClassDay grows and becomes profitable, we will direct a portion of profits toward providing free or subsidized access to students in underserved communities. We already have charitable partners in mind for this work, and we'll share more details, including which organizations we work with and how access is distributed, as the company matures.

Our commitment

This is a genuine commitment, not just a talking point. We haven't yet formalized it in legal documents, and the exact structure will depend on ClassDay's financial health and operational capacity as we grow, but our underlying goal is simple: if ClassDay succeeds, part of that success will go toward expanding access for students who couldn't otherwise afford it.
